What is the number of children in the class?

We have a set maximum capacity of 24 children in the classroom, although the current number is still slightly lower for now. By doing this, we ensure that each child has enough space and attention for optimal education.

Do kids get homework?

In our school, we do not place an obligation on pupils in the form of traditional homework. Instead, at school, we create space for motivating and thematically open house elaborations that encourage pupils to explore their own interests. This activity can take place in a home environment together with parents or in collaboration with classmates, we like to support teamwork.

For those who are interested, we prepare Voluntary Worksheets, which are offered once a week. Their elaboration is entirely voluntary and serves to support those who are interested in delving deeper into the subject. In this way, we promote the individual interests and motivation of our pupils.

Is the building reserved for the school only, or is it shared with other tenants?

The office building has its own entrance, FLOW also has its own. Everything is approved by both the sanitary station and the fire department (escape routes, exercises, compliance).

Who else will be in the building and how is the traffic separated?

There are different entrances and separate traffic. We share a floor with a small business that has less than 8 people.

How will kindergarten and school be separated (entrance, premises, mode)?

They will have different access points and doors. This is mandatory by law.

How is the movement of students inside controlled (stairs, elevators, supervision)?

There are stairs and an elevator with access for people with special needs.

Are there any risks in the area (busy roads, industrial zones, construction)?

Do classes have enough daylight? Are there rooms without windows?

Yes, they do. Soon we will provide additional visualizations and invite you to tour the premises.

Noise: traffic noise, neighbors, acoustics in the hallways/in classrooms?

All noise will be monitored by a sanitary station, the limit is below 45 dB.

Air quality: ventilation/recuperation? CO2 monitoring?

It is a modern building with full ventilation and recuperation system.

Is it a long-term place (no moving in 1-2 years)?

Yes, we have a 10-year contract with an option to extend for another 5 years, and do so repeatedly.

Parking/drop-off/pick-up?

Yes, you can use the surrounding streets. We are also exploring the possibility of using a garage in the building (to be specified). We will also ask for a K+R zone (Kiss & Ride) in front of the building.

Will we offer a shuttle service?

Yes, we are entering into an agreement with Liftago, more information soon.

What is the procedure for transferring children (check-in/check-out)?

We have our own reception and entrance secured by chips.

School lunches/meals?

Yes, external suppliers and our own dispensary. Includes all dietary needs, allergies, gluten free, vegetarian, etc.

Drinking mode: stations with water and easy access during the day?

Yes

School gym and sports?

Yes, the modern gym/sports arena is 5 minutes walk from the school campus.

Outdoor space: where do children spend time outdoors (yard/park/playground)?

Yes, we are surrounded by parks and playgrounds. We would also like to explore the possibility of renting part of the campus from a nearby public school.

Lockers/changing rooms: will it be organized?

Yes

A rest/sensory space for children who need a break (wellbeing room, counsellor)?

Yes, in every classroom there are zones for deep work (deep work) and relaxation. Furthermore, meeting rooms for staff and meetings with parents.

Will the teaching team remain stable during the move?

Yes, we introduced the new building to the team and received very positive feedback.

Will class sizes or capacity change?

Yes, the new limit is 16 children per class.

Any new fees (equipment fee, advances, shipping fees)?

The No. Only for transfer/shuttle service. This will be dealt with individually.

What if the moving schedule shifts -- what safeguards are there for families?

We will do everything possible to prevent this from happening. But in that case, we would extend the lease in the existing building by 2-3 months.

Will families be invited to sign new contracts/additions?

Probably an amendment covering a new location + a new school code/rules.

Retreat and rings: hours, capacity, spaces in the new campus?

This will be prepared during the summer holidays. In terms of quality, we will do our best to keep our promise.

Little FLOW nursery: start date, capacity, separate entrance, day mode?

September 2026, 24 children, separate entrance, own operation. Everything will be presented soon.

How can parents be involved in the educational process?

We consider parental involvement to be a key element of a successful educational process. We greatly appreciate the active involvement of parents in various aspects of our school community.

Parents participate in school events such as Demodays, workshops and lectures. Their participation in trilateral meetings, where they actively contribute and provide feedback, is of invaluable value.

Furthermore, we are grateful that parents show engagement by regularly reading the information we share regarding school activities and their children's progress. Their active participation enriches our school community, and we greatly appreciate their cooperation in creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

Do you organize joint events for the whole family?

Yes, we are proud to regularly host joint events for the whole family! Every month you can look forward to our favourite 'Demodays', which offer an inspiring insight into the results of our pupils' work. In addition, we organize interactive workshops for parents with children, lectures, dating barbecues and a cementing game for children to round off the school year at the same time. Who are the educators at Flow?

The teachers of our school are kind-hearted individuals with an open mind, the courage to experiment and with a focus on education at the first grade of primary school. With an emphasis on the individual development of pupils, they monitor their progress and promote the uniqueness of each pupil with their innovative approach.

What extracurricular activities are available at Flow?

At Flow we have a range of extracurricular activities that include various afternoon rings in collaboration with the agency and externists. Our offer is flexible and we adapt it every year to the interests of children. Currently, they can engage in various rings such as space ring, yoga, sports-movement ring, little scientist and art ring.

How does the school foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for pupils?

In our school, there is a great emphasis on an individual approach to education. Each student has the opportunity to develop their unique prerequisites and, according to their interests and abilities, participate in the educational process. This approach applies to all pupils, including those with special educational needs and gifted individuals. We work with external experts to ensure optimal support and resources for each pupil.

How is technology incorporated into the curriculum?

In children, in preparation for the digital future, we develop the ability to algorithmize (using a programming tool for children Scratch and ScratchJr), logical thinking, working with common applications (drawing programs, video editors, presentation tools, team collaboration tools), understanding the Internet and AI, and the functioning of computers. We guide children to think critically about the use of technology and safe behavior in the online world. We include in teaching new methodologies for ICT teaching (e.g. AI for children), we work with an elaborate curriculum to teach programming to children using block tools and robots. For higher grades, we extend the curriculum to work with 3D printing and 3D environments and virtual reality.

Do children have the opportunity to use the services of a psychologist/special educator?

Yes, of course! Our school is a great supporter of the overall development of each pupil, which is why we are happy to work with our team of experts. A psychologist, a special education teacher and a speech therapist visit our school regularly to provide support and care to children. In this way, pupils can use specialist services and get individual help if needed. We are proud of this collaboration, which reinforces our efforts to create an environment where every pupil can reach their full potential.

My child doesn't speak English. Is that a problem?

Ignorance of English is not a problem. Our school is open to these children and welcomes everyone with an individual approach. 🙂

Do you organize schools in nature?

Yes, we are very happy that our school regularly organizes outdoor schools, which include not only traditional lessons, but also fun learning activities, including swimming. This unique experience not only strengthens the learning process, but also supports the overall development of our pupils through activities that link education and the natural environment. We are very happy for the opportunity to provide our students with this extraordinary educational experience within the inspiring environment of the school in nature.

How does the school communicate with parents about their child's progress?

In addition to regular report cards in the form of verbal assessments twice a year, we offer parents additional opportunities to monitor their children's progress. We organize tripartite and consultation weeks twice a year, while parents can continuously monitor their children's results every month through the school information system Edookit. Demodays then allow us to present the results of the children's work each month. Whether it's meeting in person, email communication or any other means of contact, we are here for parents at any time to connect with us and discuss anything they need. 🙂

What does teaching English look like?

In Flow's English program, we combine innovative project-based teaching with Cambridge accredited courses, emphasizing a hands-on approach to language with an emphasis on authentic conversation instead of monotonous grammar. We currently have two native English speakers in Flow, one is from the UK and the other is from the US, which opens the door to different accents and dialects for our students.

Technology is essential in our school and plays a key role in English lessons as well. Using tablets, computers and modern applications, we not only provide our students with the opportunity to integrate into the digital world, but at the same time create an engaging learning environment that encourages their active participation and engagement.

How many teachers are in the classroom during class?

The team works in collaboration with a Czech educator or an English native speaker and an assistant teacher. Our teams have support from a child psychologist, a special educator, educational methodologists and a speech therapist. We also work with external experts to develop competencies and training disciplines related to the real world.

What does a regular school day look like?

Mornings in our school can be started as early as 7:30, when the doors open for the morning party. Shortly afterwards, at 8:15, we begin the day with a morning circle, before we dive into intensive classes. It consists of two ninety-minute blocks, separated by a break and a snack.

After the morning effort, the children rest during a lunch break, followed by the last block of classes in the afternoon. After the end of classes, you can take advantage of the afternoon party or take part in your favorite classes. The school remains open until 5pm to provide space for more children's activities and greater flexibility for parents. 🙂 This is how we strive to create an environment for pupils where learning is interwoven with joy and opportunities for relaxation and interests.
